In this solo exhibition Concealed Dimensions, Anna Gray delves into the mysteries hidden beneath the surface of the material world. Her work revolves around the complexity and beauty of science, with a particular focus on themes that remain unknown to us, such as time, light, and how the human body perceives and occupies space.

Her work centers around glass as the core medium while incorporating a diverse range of materials such as water, wood, and sand. Glass solidifies the flowing, materializes the intangible, and transforms fleeting moments into sculpture. The integration of other materials – such as the natural fluidity of water and sand, and the organic growth of wood – interacts with glass’s own qualities of deformation, magnification, transparency, and fluidity. Together, they construct a poetic expression of concealment and revelation, the known and the unknown.

The artist not only demonstrates a profound understanding of material language but also, through multidimensional exploration, guides the viewer into a realm that beyond sensory experience.
