Founded in 2007, Oooit is an international platform for art professionals. Our art exhibitions and educational programs pay special attention to the connection between past and future media, the interaction between Eastern and Western cultures, and the relationship between nature and human beings. Oooit is based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, with a representative office in Shanghai, China. In 2022, at our Utrecht location, we launched the Oooit Art - Werkspoor International Art Center, providing integrated functions for exhibitions, research, and documentation. (Oooit /ˈoː.ɪt/ : "ooit" is a Dutch word that means "ever." In Chinese pronunciation, "o, i, t" can be interpreted as "European art specialist.")
